SPECTA-WAR PON DE DANCEFLOOR

RE POST FROM PULSENG

Specta, Jos city's promising dancehall sensation, drops her first single of the year titled ‘War pon de dancefloor’.

She tags it "Spiritual war riddim" because the rhythm just doesn't leave, it messes with your brain.

This jam is definitely one to get the dancehall fans and good music lovers excited in no time.

These Niggaz aint Single By Specta (Vybz Kartel Ghetto life Cover)

I recorded this song in 2014 and I decided to let it out for your listening pleasure while I keep working on what I will regard as my first single of the year.... its a special package and I always like to make it saucy for it. xoxo

This song was inspired by a soldier i waited for and ended up getting married without me even seeing him ever again and being student of the law I propose through this song that the law should protect people who are unjustly treated in a relationship because issues of the heart are quite delicate and heartbreaking..... anyone who has been disappointed in a relationship before should know this feeling; even though the law protects breach of promise to marry. oh wells that didnt stop me from falling in love again. I am in love and very happy about it and if a nigga disappoints me again I'm gonna wish him jail time... and will love again.... always...

One love.

Below are shots from behind the scene

I wanted loud music here and I couldn't get so Omo vexing

there is actually nothing much to say here... Boogie is just a street dance-hall song which did not require much stunts but just dance. It is a playful and entertaining song which you can tell by just listening to it. So i just wanted something simple to compliment the song.

On set

Turn up your control is a song with a daring rhythm so I had to act so daring and commanding making sure i look like what the song sounds like.

Burn Fire Scene

Both songs actually portrayed my image as I am a very playful and daring person. So bringing both videos to you feels like communicating to you, feels like telling you about myself which i do not know how to do verbally.... My songs and videos will tell you about me. I am everything I give to you.

Don't date a girl who is an artiste because she will make your soul dance

She’s the one with paint from the night before  still on her hands. And her shirt. She’s the one who never leaves the house without a notebook. But not just any notebook- The notebook. She’s the daydreamer that speaks her mind. Her life is looked at through delicate eyes that will stop and stare at the finest of details she finds all around. She is inspired by nature and follows her passions, wherever they take her.

Don’t date a girl who’s an artist for she will use you. She’ll make you her muse for creation and will gobble every argument to draw up beautiful poetry. She will find inspiration in all parts of the city, leaving you with memories of her wherever you go. Don’t try to lead, either. Her compass comes with no direction as she is guided by the energies she finds. And you will find each other lost in crevices that ooze vivid imagination.

At any given moment planks, metal, and other gems from the street will need to be carried away. She will come across wonders that have to be in her universe. Things you never knew existed. She will teach you to use your hands. You two will build beautiful magic together that speaks your own language.  You will get splinters and cuts that she will kiss better. She will likely leave paint in your hair.

Don’t date an artist or your social life will be changed forever. Nights at One Oak will transform into eclectic exhibits in parts of the city you’ve never even heard of. You’ll see things. Real things. Things that make you feel. She’ll take you on dates that become adventures. Dinner and a movie will no longer be an option because she wants to eat inspiration and drink whiskey. She will make your soul dance.
She lives in a world far beyond your imagination and is ruled by the herbs of nature. Instead of Love & Hip Hop, she’s interested in Bukowski, Khalo, and Magritte. She’s happily lost, exploring personalities for creative energy to ebb and flow with. She will leave you, but take you with her. She will forever refer to your name as a source of inspiration. The details of your greatest tragedies together will be strung into melodies that are recited to crowds for resonation.

She will chase other adventures and forget to return to the one you two are on. So don’t date a girl who’s an artist unless you plan to travel with her through the ethers of the universe. Even then there’s no telling where she will land.
